Wonderful Books For Sale

At the age of 72, I have reached the time of life when one must contemplate one's mortality, and, if one has accumulated a lot, must start divesting oneself of material items. My parents, who divorced when I was very young, were both book collectors. When my dad died in Massachusetts quite a few years after I had moved to California, I went back East to help settle his estate. I shipped more than one ton of books back to my home in Oakland, California. When my mother dies in San Jose, she also left an accumulations. To make matters better or worse, I married a woman who, among her many great qualities, was a book amasser. And as you can already guess, I have been a book amasser/collector all my life.

I decided recently that I should start a blog that lists books I have for sale, each listing including accurate descriptions of condition and price, and as much as possible including photos of the books. So here you have it: I want to sell these books.

If you are tentatively interested in buying one or more volumes, please e-mail me at ragoodmaster@Gmail.com. Tell me where you are located (city, state and ZIP) and I shall find out from the Post Office what the shipping costs are. Or if you live in the area of Oakland, California, we can meet at a local coffeehouse, you can examine the book(s), and you can decide if you wish to make a purchase. Except in rare situations, I ask for cash on the barrelhead if you are buying at a face-to-face meeting. From a distance, you can send a US Postal Money Order or pay by PayPal. If you purchase a book, receive it, and find it is not as has been described, you may send it back for a full refund of the purchase price,
